Our Story

Incorporation: Founded by space propulsion experts, driven by a vision for sustainability and innovation in the new industrial space era.
To date: Expanded from a core team to over 40 employees, with plans to grow to 60 by 2025.

World’s first: Achieved the first-ever in-orbit demonstration of a propulsion system fuelled by iodine - a dream since the 60s and a game changer in space propulsion.
To date: ThrustMe is the only provider of a commercially in-orbit successful iodine-based electric propulsion system!

Market entry: Baselined on major EO constellations with first deliveries and launches in 2021; demonstrating safe, reliable and efficient propulsion solutions.
To date: Systems launched in 2021 have to date completed their mission successfully. Becoming the first electric propulsion system at low power to utilise all available propellant in space.

Industrial scale: Established a lean industrial production line to meet growing market demand for reliable, cost-efficient propulsion solutions.
To date: Delivered over 150 systems, with 50 in orbit by EOY 2024 and currently over 3000 hours of in-space manoeuvres.

Projected milestones: On track to deliver 300+ propulsion systems by 2025, meeting the growing demand for space sustainability.
Future innovation: Continuing to innovate with the development of the first fully iodine-compatible Hall thruster propulsion system, set for launch by 2026.
