Founded in 2017, ThrustMe is a pioneering space technology company specializing in advanced propulsion systems for small satellites. We are global experts in satellite propulsion, pushing the boundaries of streamlined in-orbit mobility for the rapidly expanding satellite constellation industry. Our clients across the US, Europe, and Asia trust us to design and deliver high-performance, precision-engineered propulsion systems that push technological boundaries while meeting demanding timelines and budgets. We made history in 2019 and 2020 with the world’s first in-orbit demonstrations of iodine-fueled electric propulsion systems. ThrustMe offers internship opportunities for students with coursework/laboratory experience in electric propulsion. These opportunities focus on research topics and the development of novel instrumentation. ThrustMe can also host students for their end-of-studies thesis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Characterize and analyze various subsystems and processes in the development of electric and electrothermal propulsion systems.
• Develop and refine testing procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Design, set up, and conduct experiments with precision and attention to detail.
• Interpret test data, prepare detailed reports, and contribute to system optimization.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with propulsion systems is a plus but not required.
• Experience with testing, instrumentation, and laboratory work is beneficial.
• Hands-on mindset with a problem-solving approach.
• Eager to learn, adaptable, and proactive with a collaborative team spirit.
• Fluency in English is required.
